An event was planned and heldat YCC Yoyogihachiman Community Center, where people could enjoy a screening of the movie "PERFECT DAYS" and an exhibition introducing THE TOKYO TOILET and the attractions of Shibuya.
"PERFECT DAYS" is an omnibus film aimed at promoting " THE TOKYO TOILET," a project to renovate public toilets in Shibuya Ward.
The screening was highly satisfactory, with many young people and non-Japanese in attendance, as well as many who commented that it was great to see the film at a venue so close to Yoyogihachiman, where the film was also set.
In the exhibition hall, books and other items related to "THE TOKYO TOILET" were displayed, and tourist maps were handed out to promote the attractions of Shibuya Ward, including its sightseeing attractions.
Under the auspices of the Shibuya Tourism Association, a SHIBUYA♡HACHI plush photo spot was set up.
Tokyo Sanitation Corporation, which is in charge of cleaning the toilets in "THE TOKYO TOILET" project, provided a video lecture on cleaning the toilets and supervised the restrooms.
