Vol.03 From Theater to Town: The Future of the Arts
The happy relationship between the theater and the city, as seen in the cases of Kitasenju BUoY and Montreal, Canada.

In Vol. 3, the final installment of the 2020 program, we welcomed Yoshiko Kishimoto, artistic director of BUoY, a unique art space in Kita-Senju, as our guest, and discussed with Hiroko Koike of our Business Development Office about the next generation of art that transcends the concept of theaters, halls, and exhibition spaces.

Francesco Fiore of Moment Factory also joined the discussion and commented on the possibilities of art that are not bound by existing frameworks through Montreal's city-wide art initiatives and BUoY's unique approach to the community.
