Theatre Seminar "Ito-Juku" vol.10 HALL for ALL, ALL for HALL

Theatre Workshop has consistently invited guests to host theater seminars.

This year, we are launching the  "Ito-Juku" led by our representative, Masaji Ito.

With 50 years of experience in theater architecture research and a long-standing involvement in theater and performance spaces, Masaji Ito, the representative of the Theatre Workshop, will focus on a specific theme for each session.

Based on research findings and practical outcomes, participants will engage in discussions to develop a model for 2030.

Masaji Ito, Representative Director Message

Theatres and halls should be for everyone.
In particular, public halls are not just for artists and a select few enthusiasts, but for everyone, regardless of disability, gender, nationality, wealth or otherwise.
In addition, the power of theatre and art is not limited to culture and the arts, but is also expected to have a significant effect on city planning and human development.
If the theatre is for everyone, what can everyone do for the theatre?
When this reverse vector becomes strong and sustainable, the theatre and art will truly belong to everyone.
