Ougimachi Museum Cube (operated by Theatre Workshop Co., Ltd.) successfully completed its crowdfunding challenge yesterday with 5,401,500 yen, exceeding its goal of 5 million yen, thanks to the support of many people.

The Ogimachi Museum Cube will open in October this fall in Ogimachi, Osaka.
With 10 cubes of various sizes, including CUBE01, a 250-seat theater, CUBE02, which can be used as a 100-seat theater, CUBE05 for art exhibitions and small-scale presentations, and a soundproof room suitable for music and dance practice, the "Ogimachi Kinema" mini-theater with approximately 50 seats is located within this complex. The "Ogimachi Cinema," a mini-theater with approximately 50 seats, is scheduled to open in this complex.
As we prepared for Ogimachi Kinema, we decided that in order to become a full-fledged mini-theater, we needed to install a high-quality screening facility called a DCP (Digital Cinema Package).
But since installing a DCP system would require a much larger budget than we had initially anticipated, we decided to challenge crowdfunding and ask for support to cover part of the system installation costs.
Our crowdfunding campaign, which began on July 10, has been supported by 488 people and ended yesterday, August 31, after raising 5,401,500 yen, or 108% of our 5,000,000 yen goal.
We are very happy to have received enthusiastic expectations and support from so many people for "Ogimachi Kinema," a mini-theater that you have not yet seen.
All of us in the Ogimachi Museum Cube Preparation Office will be working even harder to prepare for the opening of the theater.
