Masaji Ito, Representative Director Message

"What is theater? If you ask me, "What is a theater? The place is the theater. I answer, "The theater is the place where the actors are and the audience is present.
A theater or concert hall is not only a facility built for performing plays or music.

Street performances and live music on the streets turn streets into theaters and station squares into concert halls.
Every space can become a theater.

According to the Theater Law, the theater is the new square.
Then consider that the square is the new theater.
When we think of it that way, the theater will have even greater power to change people's lives and the city.

The fifth installment of "Theatre is the Square, the Square is the Theatre".
With examples of how the plaza has been turned into a theater, we will look at the essence of theater.
