Written by 野口恵里子 | Dec 21, 2024 3:00:00 PM

What is new Rakugo!?
Rakugo is one of Japan's three major forms of storytelling. We are pleased to welcome Master Takigawa Koihachi, who continues to compete on the stage only with his "new Rakugo" that overturns the "traditional" image of "old" stories and expresses his own unique worldview full of individuality, for an evening of talk and Rakugo. We will have a talk and a rakugo performance by Master Takigawa Koihachi.

Each time in the Seiryo Arts & Lecture Series, the lecturers talk about how they came to pursue their career and the obstacles they faced as members of society and their profession.
On this occasion, we will again have lecturers who are active at the forefront of creative work, touching on topics such as their encounters with what they love and the difficulties they faced in their specialized fields, which will help high school and university students to choose their career paths.
