Kyoka and Aimi Kusakari to Inaugurate P.O. Minamiaoyama Hall with Special Event

One-day talk & live concert to be held!

To celebrate its opening in April 2024, "P.O. Minamiaoyama Hall," which is managed by Theater Workshop, will hold a one-day talk &live event featuring electronic music artist Kyoka and Aimi Kusakari of Sakanaction on April 29 (Monday, national holiday). The event will be held on April 29 (national holiday)!

◆◆Sound artist Kyoka (Raster. / onpa) and Aimi Kusakari (bassist of Sakanaction)
After living in Berlin, they are now based in Switzerland. Kyoka (Raster. / onpa), a sound artist based in Switzerland who continues his own research on the relationship between music and brain science, and Aimi Kusakari, bassist of Sakanaction, who skillfully uses both electric bass and synth bass while also performing sound production. The two have been close friends and artists since shortly after their debut, collaborating on songs in the Ableton studio.
The title "Ukabuoto ~Superposition~" means "superposition" of their sense of sound and expresses this collaboration.

◆One-day-only special live concert and special talk
These two will hold a live concert to celebrate the opening of P.O. Minamiaoyama Hall. P.O. Minamiaoyama Hall is a flat and simple rectangular hall, which can create a variety of different looks depending on the stage direction. For this live concert, a multi-channel system will be used to create a musical space in which the hall itself seems to resonate. This is truly a one-day-only special live performance.
There will also be a special talk session in which the two artists will discuss the sounds and methods of expression they have prepared, so please be sure to watch out for how the chemical reaction between Kyoka, Aimi Kusakari, and P.O.Minamiaoyama Hall, who are constantly researching and challenging themselves, will be born.
